Bangor is the third largest city in the state of Maine, yet there is only one Baptist church that uses the King James Bible. This city is in desperate need of someone to reach them with the Gospel!
Bangor was established as a lumber and ship-building town in the mid-19th century. These two industries brought many economic opportunities to the area. In the present day, however, Bangor is known for its casino and racetrack crowds.

Due to its population, Bangor has one of the highest drug-use rates in Maine. Heroin is a huge contributor to this and, while the city officials are trying to crack down on this epidemic, what the city truly needs is for someone to reach them for the Lord.
The Bangor Metropolitan Area is home to over 153,000 souls. Sadly, though there are many concerned with monetary riches, they are lacking in spiritual wealth that only God can bring.

At the moment, there is no one that is planning to reach this city with the Gospel. One thing is clear, Bangor desperately needs the Gospel. Will you help us reach Bangor?
