What motivates people to go soul winning at home and give to missions around the world? Here are four undeniable reasons to share the Gospel.
1. Obedience
God commanded us to preach the Gospel to every creature. We must obey. God is the Master. We are the servants. God set the mission, told us how to accomplish it, and provided what we needed to comply.
Will you obey? If God calls you to go to the mission field, you must go. God commanded you to give for others to go, so you must give. God commands you to tell people about Jesus in your world, so you must go soul winning. The only alternative to the Great Commission is disobedience to God.
Luke 6:46 “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”
Don’t call Jesus Lord if you won’t obey Him.

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Don’t tell God you love Him if you will not obey Him.
God has given you the freedom to choose Him or reject Him. You accepted Him as your Saviour. Now, you must accept Him as your Lord by doing what He says. You accepted His love for you. Now you must give your love to Him through obedience.
2. Faith
Romans 4:20 “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;”
True faith moves you to action. Believe God and obey His Word!
Some are not involved in World Missions because they don’t believe the command can be obeyed. Do you believe we can tell the Gospel to every man, woman, and child on earth? We can because God said we could! Furthermore, every creature in every generation should hear the Gospel. Jesus died for every soul of every generation. Each generation must reach their world with the Gospel. We must pray, work, and give so that no one goes into eternity without knowing how to be saved. It can be done! God can do the impossible! He needs obedient servants to believe and act in faith!
3. Love
2 Corinthians 5:14
Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:”
If you truly love Jesus, you want the world to know about Him. He is the answer to the world’s problems. He gives salvation, joy, hope, and peace.
SOUL WINNING
Only He can save from sin and calm the restless soul. Don’t you want the world to know Him?
If you truly love Jesus, you want Him to receive the reward of His sacrifice. Jesus died for every sinner. We should strive to spread the Gospel so no one that Jesus died for would be eternally lost because we didn’t tell them. How many more people would have received Jesus if we had gotten to them in time?
4. God’s Glory
1 Corinthians 10:31 “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
The Lord receives glory when the Gospel is shared.
God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit receive recognition and attention for their part in the Gospel Plan each time it is presented.
God receives glory when the Gospel is believed.
How many times have you thanked God for your salvation? Everyone that we bring to God through Christ will spend a lifetime on Earth and an eternity in Heaven giving Him glory!
God receives glory when the Gospel is rejected.
Only a holy and righteous God would demand payment for sin. Only a loving and merciful God would die for His enemies. The Gospel brings God glory even when it is rejected!
God receives glory when the Gospel is fulfilled.
The countless throng in glory will sing praises to God eternally. I want to be used of God to add souls to that heavenly choir. How many voices will sing praise to God forever because you were a bold witness and a sacrificial giver? Eternity will tell.
